terrestrial herb. Terrestrial herb to 2.5m tall, inflorescence articulated, inflorescence bracts tinged red, flowers white tinged with blue-purple. Photo. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Forested slope between "baixo" and higher terrace, canopy relatively closed, understory relatively rich in herbs.
