Location:

Brazil. Acre. Santa Rosa do Purus Mun. Rio Chambuiacu, right-bank tributary of Rio Purus defining border with Peru. Water 1-2m below maximum, ca. 30m across at mouth but only 8m wide 3 km from mouth.

Description:

terrestrial herb. Terrestrial herb, leaves 2.5m long, pedicel to 1.5m long, peduncle arising from base, to 1.2m long; inflorescence bracts pale green, flowers cream. Several individuals on steep slope near top of low ridge. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
