Young internodes, petioles, main veins, peduncles reddish; flowers 5 merous; hypanthium and calyx green; petals purple-tinted red, lighter within , noched; stamens dimorphic, fliaments and anthers purple, connectives bulbous, yellow, oily , styly pink, curved apically, ovary superior, 5 celled,.
