Guyana. Kako River, vicinity of Camp 3, ca 21 air kilometers east of Tulameng summit (summit 1534m, N 5°33'27.1", W 60°59'34.7"). Alt. 490m. (1608 ft.)

Description:

Shrub. Shrub to 1.5m. Entire plant covered in downy trichomes. Inflor/infructescence axillary, paniculate. Calyx green, corolla white, stamens yellow with purple bases. Fruit a green capsule. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
Habitat:

Riparian forest around established Amerindian camp. Seasonally flooded, brown sand laterite. Disturbed.
