Description:

terrestrial herb. Terrestrial herb, inflorescence bracts pale green, flowers white tinged with purple at center. Few individuals fertile. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Tabocal (forest dominated by Guadua weberbaueri) on mostly level terrain, canopy open, low tree density, understory open in places. Common in wet area. Soils poorly drained in most places.
