Description:

Culms erect, nodding a little at the apex, mostly about 1 cm in diameter, to 1.5 m tall. Culm leaves deciduous. Branching extravaginal; two sizes of subsidiary. All vegetative. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
Habitat:

In clumps in secondary vegetation near the peak, on rocky outcrops.
