Description:

epiphyte on trunk in understory. pedicel and calyx orange-red; corolla orange-red basally then black,then white on distal 1/3. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

very wet cloud forest; even the thinnest twigs are thickly covered with moss.
