Description:

Small tree. Branches, petioles, and leaves green. Inflorescence and pedicels green, slightly pendulous in flower, erect and directed upward in fruit. Calyx green; corolla light purple fading to white, reflexed, the lobe apices with pubescent projection perpendicular to adaxial surface; anther thecae yellow-orange, connivent; style white, long exserted. Immature fruit green to light orange, maturing dark orange to red, dull, globose to ellipsoidal. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
Habitat:

Growing along trail, mostly shade.
