Description:

Hemi-epiphyte 2.5 m in treelet, flowers pendent, bracts red, corolla yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Terrace ("tabuleiro") with some swampy areas, soils sandy. High density of slender-trunked trees but canopy discontinuous, few trees exceeding 15-20 m x 30 cm. Rare.
