Description:

Shrub 3 m tall. Leaves subcoriaceous, dark green and shiny above, pale green below. Sterile.

Habitat:

Secondary forest with remnants of primary forest, right margin of Igarapé. Just outside of Parque Nacional Serra do Divisor.
