Description:

Solitary palm 22 m x 17 cm. Leaf sheath 107 cm long; leaf rachis 2.5 m long; 85 pinnae on each side. Immature fruits green. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

"floresta de baixio": forest in low-lying area with poor drainage.
