Description:

Shrub. Shrub to 1.5m. Leaves green, hirsute. Axillary inflorescence in capitulum. Bracts paired, green with anthocyanin blush. Calyx green. Petals light green-cream. Anthers cream. Indument on current season's growth: stems and leaves with purplish anthocyanin tint. Berry bright blue. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Bush island. Melastomataceae, Anacardiaceae, Ochnaceae, Clusia.
