Ecuador. Pichincha. Old road from Santo Domingo to Quito, ~3 km East of junction with new road (approximately 8 km E from La Union del Toachi). Alt. 1025m. (3363 ft.)

Description:

Hemi-epiphyte. Petals white, anthers purple forming a half-circle on lower half. Style white, dipping down towards anthers then curving up. Fruit and bracts greenish white. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Roadside forest.
