Description:

Tufted sedge with greenish-straw-coloured spikes. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
Habitat:

With water-worn, horizontally bedded sandstone at surface, with damp sand, sedge marsh, exposed rocks and waterfall. Vegetation open scrub to closed low woodland in drier areas. This plant growing in damp sand.
