Guyana. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Pakaraima Mountains; 1-4 km NW of Mt. Ayanganna on outer toe slopes of mountain. Alt. 800 - 1100 m. (2625 - 3609 ft.)

Description:

Shrub. Shrub, 1.5 m; entire plant viscid; flowers white; fruit translucent green.

Habitat:

Montane evergreen forest, canopy to 35 m; Clusia, Lecythidaceae, Arecaceae, Fabaceae, epiphyes abundant. Soils sandstone derived.
