Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located Palmari Nature Reserve, which is situated along Rio Javari (synonymous with Rio Yavari). Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of the reserve. Because Palmari Nature Reserve does not have defined spatial boundaries, used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure from the selected coordinates to the nearest named place, the city of Atalaia do Norte, then halved this distance to approximate the linear extent.
