Description:

Midrib green except for basal 10-15 cm, ehich is dark brown to almost black. Both surfaces of lamina mid green and glossy. Root mass very dense, inhabited by small ants. [See label for complete description.]. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
Habitat:

Atlantic wet forest regoin. Common on small to medium sized trees.
