Dominican Republic. Peravia. Cordillera Central: en las cimas de la Loma del Rancho, al SE de San José de Ocoa, subida por el lado de "Tumbaca". Alt. 1350 - 1400 m. (4429 - 4593 ft.)

Description:

Arbusto 3.5 m de alto con copa 3.5 m de ancho; envés de la hoja blancusca; tricomas rojos; corola blanca. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Bosque latifoliado; muy húmedo y muchos vientos, con Prestoea montana, reducida en el área y con vacas.
