Panama. Darién. Serranía de Pirre, on the northwest slope of the mountain range dominated by Cerro Pirre, along Q. Perecingo (Perasenico) a tributary to Rio Pirre, about 10 air km south of El Real. Alt. 300 m. (984 ft.)

Description:

Small spreading subshrub growing out of the steep walls of the streambank up to 1 m high and 2 m across; petals white; fruit red to purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

In subtropical moist to wet forest associated with streamside or near streamside vegetation.
