Description:

Shrub. Shrub 1.2 m, stems and foliage succulent. Fruit globose, 3.5 cm diam, yellow. Latex white. Understory of relativley undisturbed forest. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Forest with open canopy, site of Guadua bamboo die-back 3 years before, understory poor in herbs. Rare.
