Description:

White thin latex exuded when trunk is cut with pungent sour smell, like the scent of green papaya. Lvs. w/sweeter smell. Lvs. dark green above, lighter underneath with white veins.
Habitat:

Down the hill from Jaime's house garden, Paititi, Ucayali, Peru. 15 m tree growing on swampy creek bed over Costus, Guadua, Calathea with Bignoniaceae vine growing up it.
