Description:
Hemiepiphytic appressed-climber; internodes dark green and semiglossy, obtusely flattened adaxially toward base of internodes, becoming dark brown, sometimes warty, frequently transverse narrowly fissured; petioles sheathed throughout, usually contacting blades; sheath erect-incurled and short, not at all winged, medium to dark green, weakly glossy, sparsely dark-short-lineate; blades thinly coriaceous, dark green and semiglossy above, slightly paler and weakly glossy below, markedly inequilateral; midrib obtusely and narrowly sunken, concolorous above, narrowly raised and slightly paler below; primary lateral veins weakly sunken above, weakly raised below; laticifers visible; minor veins fine, close.
