Description:
Hemiepiphyte; internodes gray, matte, obtusely flattened, especially toward base of internode; petioles sheathed throughout, often overlapping base of blade, medium green and matte below, the sheath darker and semiglossy below, dark green and glossy above, sulcate medially, the sheath margins down curled; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and semiglossy above, moderately paler and almost matte below; midrib sunken and concolorous above, narrowly raised and paler below; primary lateral veins quilted-sunken above, pleated-raised below.
