Description:

Ca. 40 cm tall; 9-12 mm diam., yellow-green, very glossy; petioles sheathed 1/2-4/5 its length, acute at apex; geniculum narrowly and sharply sulcate; blades thinly coriaceous, dark and semiglossy above, slightly paler and weakly glossy below; midrib flattened-convex and concolorous above, narrowly rounded and paler below; primary lateral veins moderately close, weakly sunken and concolorous above, weakly convex and concolorous below; minor veins moderately indistinct; sap rather foul-smelling.
