Description:

1.3 m tall; internodes medium yellow-green, weakly and obscurely mottled with dark green, semiglossy; petioles sheathed 1/2-3/5 its length, dark green, matte, conspicuously pale-lineate in distinct rows, the free part sharply sulcate for the most part; midrib obtusely flat-raised and concolorous above, narrowly rounded, paler and matte below; primary lateral veins quilted-raised and concolorous above, narrowly raised and darker below; minor veins moderately indistinct; inflorescence solitary; peduncle 10 cm long, 6 mm diam., weakly glossy, inside of spathe slightly paler, glossier; berries green, closely packed, ca. 46 in number.
