Description:
Epiphyte; internodes 1.5-3.0 cm long, 1 cm diam., pale and medium green, soon gray-brown; cataphylls soft, pale green, unribbed, persisting as a network of fibers; petioles obtusely flattened adaxially, medium to dark green, warty throughout; blade thinly coriaceous, semiglossy, moderately bicolorous; midrib sunken and slightly paler above, narrowly raised and paler below; primary lateral veins deeply and obtusely sunken above, narrowly raised below; minor veins fine, close.
