Description:

Hemiepiphyte; internodes dark green and glossy, less than 2 mm diam., eventually grayish, terete; petiole sheath narrow and erect, medium to dark green and weakly glossy; blades thin, semiglossy, scarcely bicolorous; midrib etched-sunken and concolorous above, narrowly raised and slightly paler below; primary lateral veins not apparent on either surface.
