Description:

Hemiepiphytic vine, appressed-climbing to 3 m; internodes 1.5 cm long, 5 mm diam., matte, medium to dark green, acutely flattened on one side, becoming more terete and gray-brown in age; petioles fully sheathed, the sheath flaring toward apex, matte and minutely speckled outside, semiglossy within, rounded to emarginate at apex; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and matte-subvelvety above, moderately paler and matte below; midrib faintly paler and sunken above, narrowly rounded and obscurely speckled below; primary lateral veins absent above, weakly visible below, scarcely more prominent than minor veins below; inflorescences 2 per axil; peduncle 2.5 cm long, 6 mm diam., medium green, densely dark short-lineate; spathe 12.5 cm long, 2.0 cm diam., medium green, smooth, matte on tube outside, slightly paler green within, finely striate (post-anthesis), pre-anthesis spadix with orange-brown resin canals in tube.
