Hemiepiphyte; internodes brownish, matte, terete; petioles fully sheathed, not breaking over base of blade, sheath dark green to purplish, matte; blades thinly coriaceous, dark green and weakly glossy above, slightly paler and matte below; midrib narrowly sunken and slightly paler above, narrowly raised and paler below; primary lateral veins etched weakly above, weakly convex and concolorous below; cross-veins weakly visible below; inflorescence solitary; peduncle 2.3 cm long, somewhat warty; spathe 10.5 cm long, 2.5 cm diam., dark green and coarsely ribbed throughout (coarser near the base), densely pale-speckled throughout; inner spathe surface pale medium green, purplish resin canals extending throughout tube.
