Description:

1.3 m tall; stem dark green, weakly mottled with slightly paler green, matte; internodes 2.5-3.0 cm long, 3.0 cm diam.; petioles matte, same color as stem, matte, sheathed to just beyond middle, sheath incurled, decurrent at apex, free part acute, sulcate near sheath, obtusely so toward apex; blades matte, dark green above, mottled with paler yellow-green irregular spots above, slightly paler below; midrib obtusely flat-raised and concolorous above, narrowly rounded and slightly paler below; primary lateral veins quilted-sunken and concolorous above, convex, prominently convex and slightly paler above; minor veins weakly prominent.
