Description:

Erect perennial shrub 0.5 m tall, in patches. Corollas light purple; anthers yellow. Fruit bright red, 4-6 mm in diameter, surrounded but not enclosed by accrescent calyx lobes. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Cloud/mist forest. Open Eucalyptus forest.
