Bolivia. Cochabamba. Chapare Prov. Along highway from Villa Tunari to Cochabamba, at bridge over Río Antahuacana. Alt. 810 m. (2657 ft.)

Description:

Shrub 3 m. tall, with many arching branches. Flowers abundant all over the branches, but none open (12: 15 P.M., sunny). Corolla yellow-green.
Habitat:

Steep slopes, humid evergreen forest. Common and conspicuous from here to ca. 1500 m. along the highway at edge of forest, perhaps in a phase of mass blooming?. Common.
