Description:

Stem 4 m tall (some plants to 8 m), slender, leaves crowned at apex; inflorescence yellow; fruits greenish-yellow. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Gallery forest along stream and brejo, (sedge meadow) and cerrado on slopes above; sandy soil, sandstone rocks.
