Brazil. Goiás. Caldas Novas Mun. At headwaters of the creek, Rio Quente, at the hotel, "Pousada do Rio Quente", at foot of west slope of the Serra de Caldas (a flat-topped Batholithic dome), 13 km due WSW of city of Caldas Novas.

Description:

Tree. Tree 5m tall, trunk ca. 15cm dbh.
Habitat:

Gallery forest around hot water swimming pools. The forest now consists only of scattered remnant original trees, the ground layer having been made into a garden. Remnant forest.
Feature Notes:

Branches collected with young fruit attached and ripe light green fallen fruits separate.
