Description:

Rhizome fleshy, cream, with light tan hairs. Scales rigid, dirty yellow, dark red laterally, margin whitish. Pedicel fleshy, whitish. Perianth dark red-purple, reflexed at anthesis; anthers and pollen white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Growing on soil under Tapura sp. (#8420) in shade of forest on hillside.
