Saprophyte or parasite; flower stalk yellow-white; flower dark red. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

On stream bank in forest. Gallery forest along stream and brejo (sedge meadow) and cerrado on slopes above; sandy soil, sandstone rocks.
