Terrestrial shrub with branches arching to 2 m long; rhachis & pedicels green heavily suffused with red; floral bracts & bracteoles pale green suffused with red; calyx pale green heavily suffused with orangish-red at anthesis, corolla yellowish-green; floral pubescence reddish-yellow; immature fruits green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
