Description:

Subshrub to 0.75 m. Perianth totally violet-magenta. Common along river edges amongst rocks. Plants pretreated with EtOH.
Habitat:

Mature wet forest that receives ca. 8800 mm rainfall annually. Common along river edges amongst rocks.
