Description:

Unbranched shrub or coarse herb 1 m; inflorescence axes red-purple, flowers white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Undulating terrain. Edge of forest. Disturbed terra firme forest with open canopy, source of disturbance unknown (bamboo die-back ?). Occasional.
