Description:

Thin few-branched shrub, decumbent and rooting at base and rising to 1 1/2 tall. Heads of purplish-red bracts. Corolla thick, waxy white. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
Habitat:

Well developed secondary forest (with some original trees) in narrow creek valley.
