Description:

Shrub 1.2 m. tall. This the first shrub of this species seen as ascending from the highway, becoming more common on upper parts of this slope. Petals bright purple; filaments, anthers and style purple.

Habitat:

Short forest on slope over sandstone, approaching lower edge of sub-cloud forest. Sandstone.
