Location:

Colombia. Chocó. Area of Baudó. On left bank of river Baudó, about 12 km upstream from the estuary, and about 500 m above estuary of Quebrada Angueradó (Camp-site) (= Q. Taparalito on old Shell map). Alt. 5m. (16 ft.)

Description:

Large shrub, about 3 m high; flowers with small greenish-yellow petals and long stamens.

Habitat:

On relatively dry firm soil (on tierra firme), not influenced by salt water during high tide.
