Description:

Tree. Tree, 15 m tall. White latex. Fruits pendent, spindle-shaped, to 15 cm long, yellow with maroon stripes. Fruits edible. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Moist terra firme forest on Tertiary sediments. Terrain hilly, dissected by deep narrow stream beds. Occasional.
