Description:

Tree 18 x 35 cm, trunk with hoop marks, outer bark whitish-gray, relatively smooth, thick white latex. Branchelets spiny, fruits pendent, orange, 10 cm long. [FRUITS SEPARATE]. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Terra firme forest on poorly drained soils, undulating terrain dissected by numerous streams.
