Description:

Terrestrial subshrub, 1.5-2.0 m tall. Frequently branched. Calyx light green. Corolla yellow; two dorsal lobes of corolla black; hypocyrtoid with pouch on lower surface. Mature fruit a rupturing berry.
Habitat:

Premontane wet forest.
