Location:

Ecuador. Pichincha. Quito (Canton). Reserva Florística-Ecológica "Río Guajalito", km 59 de la carretera antigua Quito - Sto. Domingo de los Colorados, a 3.5 km al NE de la carretera. Alt. 1800 - 2200 m. (5905 - 7218 ft.)

Description:

Epiphytic climber. Shoots dorsiventral. Abaxial leaf surface green with red apices. Bracts mostly red with green margins. Corolla slightly bilabiate; yellow with red spotting on lobes.

Habitat:

Montane wet forest.
