Description:

Shrub, 1-1.5 m tall. Abaxial surface of leaf usually green; sometimes slightly red. Flowers resupinate; in axillary clusters. Calyx lobes dark red. Corolla tubular; apically ventricose on dorsal surface; nectary a bilobed gland on ventral surface. Neot.
Habitat:

Premontane wet forest.
