Ecuador. Imbabura. Cotacachi (Canton). La comunidad Tabla Chupa, NW of the Laguna de Cuicocha, ca. 70 km from Ibarra via la carretera Panamericana. Alt. 2600m. (8530 ft.)

Description:

Terrestrial. Growing on steep eroded roadside. Perianth mostly purple, petals white and fused at apex.
