Description:

woody climber at 8 m. corolla tube bright red, lobes white; fruit light tan, flatteneed globose, 0.75 cm dia. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

medium canopy cloud forest, 20-30 m; organic soils on sand with nu- merous sandstone boulders.
