Description:

6 in, DBH x 25 ft, tall melastome; green calyx; pinkish red corolla; stamens with white watery glandular sac at junction of "knee.".

Habitat:

Open pastures and fringes of forest on upper slopes. Oaks, Alfaroas, melastomes.
